Amazon Wants to Make Your Season Bright with a Discount for Using Their App
In an effort to win your business, Amazon will be offering five percent off on up to three qualifying products in eligible categories when using Price Check by Amazon on December 10. Grab your mobile device and head for the nearest department store for Price Check Saturday.
To participate in this big sale, users must download Price Check by Amazon, or update to the latest version if it is already in your device.
On December 10, while shopping at your local retail store, use Price Check to see if Amazon is offering a better deal than the in-store price. Just by using the app, you will be able to receive an additional five percent discount on up to three eligible items, including electronics, toys, music, DVDs and more. The maximum discount for any single item is $5.
Amazon’s updated app has also added Price Sharing. Users can now submit in-store prices that they have found to Amazon, allowing to online retail giant to ensure that consumers are getting the best possible deal.
Price Check by Amazon lets users search for items by four different methods:
Scan a barcode: Amazon’s barcode scanner will match an item and provide pricing from Amazon.com and other online merchants in seconds. One exclusive feature to the Android version of Price Check is the ability to scan in either portrait or landscape mode, making it faster and easier to find products. Snap a picture: Snap a photo and instantly match the picture to books, DVDs, CDs, video games and more. Say the product name: Speak the name of a product to return accurate product matches and pricing from Amazon.com and its other online merchants. Type your search: Type the product name to instantly find products and prices.Amazon also offers FREE Super Saver Shipping for orders over $25, and for those participating in Amazon Prime, there are thousands of products eligible for free two-day shipping.
