Didn’t Buy your Kids an iPhone or an iPad for Christmas? They May Just Hate you Now

While we were gathered around the Christmas tree on the morning of December 25th, unwrapping our gifts and enjoying the spirit of the holiday with friends and family, teenagers and children across the United States were tweeting about their dissatisfaction with the gifts they received.
Twitter user and comedian Jon Hendren, better known as @fart, spent the day retweeting the messages from bratty teenagers who didn’t get what they wanted for Christmas, creating a nauseating display of entitlement and consumerism. Of course, it’s funny too, for those of us who aren’t parents.
What were the kids upset about? Many of them wanted cars and laptops, and were disappointed when the items didn’t show up under the tree. The overly dramatic tweets are riddled with swear words and oozing with thoughtlessness. Here’s a few:
“No Iphone. I hate my dad.”
“My parents are the worst mother @*$@ing parents in the world !#@# you mom and dad for not getting me a Iphone. F$#@ YOU. FML.”
“I hate how my mom has to ruin christmas by getting everyone stupid gifts..where the hell is the iphone i asked for?! B@$@H!”
And of course, there were the kids who did get what they asked for, or an equally great gift, but it didn’t live up to their expectations. An iPhone in the wrong color? THE WORLD IS OVER.
“I’m so jealous of everyone with the white iPhone and I have this ugly black one.”
“returning my kindle fire and getting an iphone…this is bull!#@$!”
“I want the white iPod instead of the black D:”
Talk about first world problems. If I were the parents of these kids, I’d take away what they did get and donate it to children in unfortunate situations who got nothing at all. In conclusion, I’d like to share this video with you, featuring these tweets sung to music, which makes them even funnier. Of course, there is some very strong language in this video, so it is not appropriate for work or sensitive ears.
