The iPhone 5 is slated to be released in October!

The iPhone 5 is slated to be released in October and this release date is greatly expected. However, the usual silence on matters of this type is being maintained by Apple, and as such there is yet to be any in depth information from that end.
In the interim, there has been a lot of discord among the technical specialists and developers regarding the features that are likely to accompany the latest iPhone. These discussions largely have to do with the information implanted in the beta-versions of the most current operating system; the iOS5. Many features will be on the iPhone 5, or so it is claimed, but many people think that this is simply a buzz to create excitement.
One such feature is the 4G wherein the user can upload and download at speeds that would top such 3G applications as video chat, Multimedia Messaging Service, mobile TV and mobile broadband access. The 4G would permit roaming for local area networks that are wireless, as well as data rates that have a wireless service of one hundred Mbits. With a bandwidth that has been augmented and a transmission rate that is significantly higher, the user will be able to use high definition video and video conferencing.
However, it is being argued that 4G cannot be supported by the iPhone 5. This is due to the fact that the cost of the LTE chip is not in keeping with the policies that Apple has with respect to being affordable. In addition, the chip that is needed will not preserve the iPhone’s slimness.
Another rumoured feature of the iPhone 5 is the flash support. Originally it was said to have a twelve megapixel camera that has a dual-LED flash. However, subsequent reports have revealed that the iPhone’s cameral have eight megapixels and lenses that Genius electronic Optical and Lagan (2 Taiwanese companies) will supply.
Again however, we hear that the iPhone 5 will not come with a flash support since Apple is not in favour of Adobe Flash, and has painted it as being “an unreliable power hog, prone to crashing and messy with resources.” In keeping with the aforementioned, they have decreased their orders for the present LED flash that the iPhone4 uses. This is backed up by Morgan Adams, the Flash developer who posits that mobile touchscreen platforms and Flash do not work well together. He contends that the major issue has to do with the issues with the mouseover or hover.
With this issue, a number of the present Flash menus, video players and games need a mouse pointer that is visible. These mouse pointers are coded to depend on the divergence between actual clicking of the mouse and mouseover. This is not an uncommon difference however, and Adams continues to opine that it is crucial to designs that are interactive. He also believes that it is imperative to the fundamental utility of the content of Flash.
The loudspeaker is also a rumoured feature of the iPhone 5. However, since Apple is also intending to make their phones sleek and slim, then the loudspeaker would not be in keeping with this aim. A rule that is almost written in stone with respect to speakers is that the larger they are, the better they work, and if the poor performance of the speakers on the iPhone4 is anything to go by, then the speakers on the iPhone 5 is not anything to look forward to.
